Restorations and Preservations: We go the extra mile by conducting meticulous research to ensure that every detail aligns with the car's original specifications, whether it's a full restoration or the preservation of an original car. Our commitment to accuracy, combined with the use of original parts, guarantees a stunning result.
 

Maintenance and Repairs: From routine maintenance to complex engine overhauls, our team ensures that these vintage vehicles remain in great condition, allowing our clients to enjoy the open road with confidence.
 

Rally and Race: Our team brings extensive racing experience from around the globe, including the deserts of the Western United States, Africa, Baja Mexico, and beyond. Racing is our passion, and we provide support at these races. Though not required, you will have the opportunity to travel with the team to help at these events. Position Description:

As an Automotive Technician at Verve Vintage Motorworks, you will play a crucial role in the restoration, maintenance, and customization of vintage air-cooled Porsche and Volkswagen vehicles. From conducting thorough diagnostics to executing intricate repairs and modifications, you will apply your technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship are upheld in every project.

Requirements:

​

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in automotive field or related industry.

  • Proven experience as an automotive technician, preferably with a focus on vintage air-cooled Porsche and Volkswagen vehicles.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Collaborate closely with our team of skilled technicians and craftsmen to deliver exceptional results on every project.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards at all times.

  • Basic personal tools.

Nice to Haves:

​

  • Certification in automotive technology or related field.

  • Previous experience working with vintage air-cooled Porsche and Volkswagen cars.

  • Familiarity with classic car restoration techniques and materials.

  • Passion for vintage automobiles and a desire to contribute to preserving automotive heritage.
